Nikko used to draw cartoons and characters for fun. But when his friend Mike DeMasi bought a car, they started to take classes at the Art Center of Pasadena. Nikko’s age was 16 then. However, in 2002, Nikko met his friend, Mike at Art Junkies Tattoo Studio. Since then, Nikko started tattooing as Mike offered him an apprenticeship.

After tattooing for a year, Nikko made a tattoo of a Batman Color Portrait. The portrait made the first place in the ‘Pomona Tattoo Portrait Contest.’ It was the great success of his career as a Tattoo artist.

Nikko has featured on many TV shows such as Tattoo Wars, LA Ink, Spike TV’s Ink Master, and Tori & Dean. He then started to get fame among celebrities, musicians, and athletes which allowed him to tattoo such famous personalities. At the middle of Nikko’s career boom, he started the Black Anchor Collective tattoo studio in 2009.

Nikko hit a significant milestone in his career in 2013 as he made his first solo art show “Renati.” He then debuted a series of remarkable paintings at the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica.
