The Harry Potter actress, Noma Dumezweni, is a British actress famous for the portrayal of Hermione Granger in the classic movie. The Oscar winner, originally from Swaziland, started contributing to the television world since 2001 and is still proactive.

The announcement of Noma as Hermoine received mixed criticisms. Correctly, theatre critic Kate Maltby pointed out that she is someone that consistently engages and enthralls. On the other hand, Harry Potter author J.K Rowling said that Hermoine’s character wasn’t white in the first place.

Back in 2018, Dumezwena was back in the limelight when she featured on the sequel of Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Returns. In fact, she played Miss Penny Farthing, the secretary of the lead character, Wilkins.

According to the reputed critique, Rotten Tomatoes, the movie held an impressive rating of 79%. Impressively, it also earned a whopping income of $349.5 million at the global box office. Similarly, it also bagged numerous awards like Golden Globe Awards, British Academy, etc.
