It’s Over: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Divorced After Less Than a Year of Marriage

The Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and her beau Liam Hemsworth’s love story has finally come to an end.

Not more than a year after Miley Cyrus‘ marriage with Liam Hemsworth, she has called it quits with her husband. The duo only walked down the aisle on December 23, 2018, and on August 10 Saturday, 2019, they have announced their separation.

Miley’s rep said in a statement,

Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.

The representative also said in the statement,

Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.

The rumors of the couple’s split started when the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus posted a photo on her Instagram without her wedding ring.

Though Cyrus was not wearing her wedding band, she was wearing a number of bracelets and necklaces. Her caption for the image read,

Mute me if you don’t want SPAMMED.

Brandi Cyrus, her older sister commented on her sissy’s image with a “Booooooooom!”

This photo was captured after Cyrus and Brody Jenner‘s ex-partner Kaitlyn Carter went out on a trip to Italy. Quick Fact: Kaitlyn and Jenner also confirmed their split a week before Miley’s announcement.

Kaitlyn also took to her socials to post a photo of them in bikini with a caption that read, “rock the boat, don’t rock the boat baby”

This is not all from the story as Miley and Kaitlyn also packed PDA during their trip. The duo took full advantage of their getaway and at one point they got all smoochie. Look at the pictures!

Just a month before, Trace Cyrus‘ sister opened up about her marriage to Chris Hemsworth‘s brother. She told the Elle Magazine that people still are confused about her marriage with Liam.

But my relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it.

Well, she said her relationship is as modern and complicated as it is. As we already know, the pair had an on and off relationship beforehand, so this time too, they might be taking a break from their relationship. But, who knows what time beholds?
