As they say, Suicide is man’s way of telling god, you can’t fire me, I quit. Unfortunately, rapper Coades Scott popularly known as Kayo Redd, younger brother to Wakka Flocka Flame abiding by this quote committed suicide on December 29, 2013.

So, what were the reasons behind the suicide? What did the promising young rapper lack to take his own life? Along with wishing the departed soul to rest in peace, let us look at the details behind the horrific incident on New Year Eve 2014.

Depression Took Him Out

According to the medical reports, Kayo Redd died from a self-inflicted gunshot near his residence at Georgia. Later, Redd’s popular brother, Waka Flocka confirmed his tragic death on Twitter and expressed his love.

The departed rapper lived in the same house as his brother but had just left the house when the incident occurred. Following his departure from his residence, the cops found his dead body in the streets. There were no signs of any mischief or murder to his death after the investigations, thus confirming the suicide.

The 27-year old suffered from a mental disorder and possibly going through depression at the time. Depression is not about outside, but all about what goes inside a man’s head. Just a few hours prior to the horror, the promising rapper tweeted to promote his Red Kisses mixtape. Waka and his mother also confirmed that their little boy had alot of stress going through his head which was the core reason for his demise.

Second Son to Die

Debra Antney, mother of Redd endured a second tragedy of losing her own children. Her third son died in a dangerous accident colliding with a car. How dejected would a mother feel after losing two of her sons? It is difficult even to imagine. Luckily, her elder son has held her up close and helped to move on from the emotional trauma.

Leaves an Angel as Souvenir

Soon after his demise, Redd fathered a beautiful daughter named Ittila Scott from an unknown mother. The family acknowledged the arrival a bit late but were thrilled to find a cute little souvenir to their late son.

The American rapper, Flame assures that he loves his niece to death and be a fatherly figure to him instead of his dear brother. His mother also felt fortunate enough to have a granddaughter, who often reminds her of Kayo.

Career on the Rise

The Afro-American was building a promising career of his own as a rapper. He sang a few singles like Californication, 93, and Groupies, Guitars and Bass. Not only the solos, he featured on different mixtapes like Red Kisses and YNS.
