Kathie Lee met her husband, Frank Gifford on the set of Good Morning America in 1982. Frank found Kathie alive and adorable at the time. Frank was married at the time, and he desperately tried to fix her up with one of his best friends.
However, as time flew over, Kathie and Frank fell in love. After dating for three years, the couple married each other on a beach in Bridgehampton, New York on October 18, 1986.
Kathie suffered a miscarriage in the year 1992. It was her husband, Frank who comforted her during her miscarriage and gave her emotional support. At the time Kathie said on Live with Regis & Kathie Lee:
Frank and I were planning our second baby to be to come this fall this spring. I just wanted to tell everybody myself. Until you experience [a miscarriage] yourself, you really don’t understand the heartbreak of it
Kathie gave birth to her first son, Cody Newton on 22nd March 1990, with husband, Frank. After a year of miscarriage, they welcomed their second child; a daughter, Cassidy Erin on 2nd August 1993.
In 1997, Kathie almost ended her marriage with husband, Frank, when she found that her husband had an exclusive affair with a married flight attendant, Suzen Johnson. The news completely crushed Kathie but instead, she supported her husband on his infidelity and decided to be together for the rest of the life.

Frank later gained her trust, and he had been more proud of his wife. But on 9th August 2015, Frank died at the age of 84. After the demise of the husband, her children visit her most often as both of them have made their home in Los Angeles. She is too proud of her children and said:
They’re both great human beings who realized that their mama needs them now more than they need me. They come home a lot, and it means the world to me. When your children ultimately become your dear friends, you know you’ve made a switch in the relationship.
Though Frank died, he still lives within the heart of his family, friends, and fans.
Kathie Lee Is Open To Dating Again!
After two years of the death of her husband, Today show star Kathie revealed that she is open to finding a new love in her life again. In an interview for Prevention magazine’s “Love Your Age” issue, conducted before passing of her mother, she said:
My mother asked me that just the other day. She said, ‘Would you be open to love again?’ I said, ‘Mom, I’m open to anything the Lord has for me at this point in my life!
The “Today” show host is currently grieving the loss of her mother, Joan Epstein. She passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, 12th September.
As of now, Kathie needs a partner for the rest of life. We hope soon she will be dating a perfect partner.
