A Pediatrician and Television Personality, Dr. Jim Sears is also a co-host on the Emmy Award-winning talk show “The Doctors.” As a Pediatrician, Sears works at a family practice in Capistrano Beach, California along with his father and a younger brother named Steven Sears. His younger brother has a Down’s Syndrome.

Jim shares two children with his previous wife, Diane, and a third child with another woman. He got divorced with his former wife, but the reason is not known.

His two children from his former wife – a 16-year-old actress, Lea and 12-year-old, Jonathan. In the year 2011, during a vacation to Hawaii, he proposed his girlfriend-Gina on the show.

Born on January 3, 1963, in the USA, he is also known as James Michael Sears. Being born to a Pediatrician father, Sears took his father’s step. In 1996, he got his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine. In 1999, he completed his pediatric residency at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. Sears is currently 58 years of age.

He started his career featuring on the PBS parenting series “Help Me Grow” as well as “Dr. Phil.”  He frequently travels the country and gives a speech about the significance of good nutrition with its role in fixing medical problems. Sears also serves as the Children’s Health Specialist for the AOL Medical Advisory Board.
