Jael Wena is the fifth one to represent Australia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus after being internally selected by Blink TV. It was revealed that she would be performing a song titled Champion. The official music video of the song was released on juniorEurovision.tv’s YouTube page by Michael Charles Paynter and Michael James Delorenzis.
The Junior Eurovision representative has more than 50 cousins from her father’s side in Africa, and she wishes to meet them soon.
Speaking to Junior Eurovision, she said,
“I have been pretty much singing my whole life ever since I started to walk I guess. I love singing because it just expresses your vocal ability and sometimes its got great meaning and songs.”
Talking to Junior Eurovision, Jael Wena revealed that she makes her songs. She said,
“My dad has got a studio in our house and we work together to create a song to record. He will make the beats and i will make the songs.”
