I’m so excited, I’ve been trying to claim the records for months. I had to get measured so many times. All my life I have had people looking at me in the street. It can be funny when you are sitting and someone comes up to you and doesn’t expect you to be so tall, then I stand up and I can see the reaction on their faces.

Ekaterina Lisina also revealed her struggle to find shoes of her size. She said:

When I was growing up I had to wear men’s shoes to fit my size 14 feet. It was horrible, I would find the most feminine-looking shoes I could. I never wore heels.
