Film star Daniel Day-Lewis is widely known as the leading actors of his generation, who won Oscar three times, and he is retiring from his acting. 60-year-old, Day- Lewis said in a statement that he “will no longer be working as an actor.”

She added:

“He is immensely grateful to all of his collaborators and audiences over the many years. This is a private decision and neither he nor his representatives will make any further comment on this subject.”

His three Oscar-winning movies are; he was admired for the title role in “Lincoln”, as a voracious oilman in “There will be Blood”, and as a writer and artist Christy Brown in “My Left Foot”.
