Income history of Colin Kaepernick
In 2014 Colin Kaepernick was rewarded with a “record” seven-year, $126 million contracts after dominating and leading pre-eminently the San Francisco 49ers to consecutive NFC championship games and one Super Bowl.
But after three seasons of repudiating production as well as including a season of headlines encompassing his protest of the national anthem, the contract was not as nearly big as everybody made it out to be at the moment, and in the end, he only received $39.4 million.
Kaepernick was granted $12.3 million signing bonus salary of just $645,000 in 2014. Kaepernick’s deal included a record $61 million in “guaranteed” money, but it turned out the $61 million was only guaranteed or assured if he were to undergo a career-ending injury.
Thus, each year of the contract after the first, the 49ers were free to trench Kaepernick and not owe him any more money. Meanwhile, just weeks before the start of the 2017 season the talented player is still with no job and is deprived of a big chunk of the $61 million “guarantee.” But as per the facts and figures in 2016, his wealth was valued at $22 million and as of Jan 2017, his net worth is $2 million.
As of 2019, his net worth is $20 million.

Charity and Shoe collection of Colin Kaepernick
We’ve known it for quite a long time that Colin has a massive shoe collection which he needed to store in his garage. But, the kind spirit makes the donation of $100,000 per month (and $1 million in total) to different causes and this year he decided instead of holding onto the shoes he would donate his massive sneaker collection to the homeless in San Francisco. Isn’t that the act of decency?
