John Legend, instead of going to the Grammys, spend his Sunday evening taking a long, nice nap. His wife, Chrissy Teigen revealed the reason for their absence from the show.

She tweeted a photo of her beau sleeping and wrote,

Furthermore, she continued,

Two birds with one stone! She, along with her revelation of their absence from the Grammys, also joked about her husband’s recent EGOT awards. (EGOT is used for people winning all Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards)
This year, John only had a joint nomination with his Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert stars. Unfortunately, he and his team were unable to win the award.
