He was found motionless at a Day Inns in Glendale. Eventually, a man with the news anchor summoned authorities at 1:15 pm and reported that he was short of breathing. Also, he applied the aid for the unconscious Chris Burrous, as the team of paramedic had reached the unfortunate situation.
“Quite honestly did a good job of trying to render aid,” according to Glendale Police Sgt. Dan Suttles said in a news briefing. The paramedic team also applied CPR before transmitting Burrous to the emergency aid. Unfortunately, Burrous could not make to the aid scene and hence pronounced dead.

The man, who was accompanying Burrous claimed that he overdosed. However, the cops are undertaking investigations for Chris Burrous’ possible cause of death. Additionally, Glendale Police Sgt. Dan Suttles unveiled that the case isn’t suicide under any circumstances.
After much awaited postmortem result of Chris’ death, it was found that he was high on methamphetamine. The Coroner’s Office reported that Burros had an overdose of the Class A drug and also had other factors such as his cardiovascular disease and hypertension increasing his chances of death.
According to the man who contacted the police, Burros had two ‘rocks’ of crystal meth inserted via his rectum, hence, falling unconcious.
The scene also contained GHB, the Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid. However, Burros hadn’t consumed the item. Though the man and Burros were together smoking and taking drugs, the man was not charged with any crime.
