Blake Painter, an Oregon fishing boat captain, featured on the Discovery Channel series The Deadliest Catch, has died at the age of 38. His death remains mysterious as the cause of death is still unknown. However, local police said that some evidence was found on the spot.

Reports suggest there were a variety of drugs found at the scene which indicates the cause of death to be more closely related to overdose.

His body was spotted lying face down on the kitchen floor on May 25th, 2018, in his Oregon home. A police officer was alerted by a concerned friend of Painter, and the officer entered his home and found Painter had been dead for several days.

His face had turned black and stomach blue. Even though the real cause of death is still under investigations, many theories suggest he od’d on drugs.
