The talented singer of America’s Got Talent Evie Clair has left many of her fans including the judges be emotional with her lovely version of What A Wonderful World following the death of her father on Tuesday’s episode. Evie, who is at the age of 13 has suffered a huge loss as her dad died of stage four colon cancer a week ago. Clair is among the top ten finalists competing in America’s Got Talent t the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Evie Clair Sings Heart Tribute To Her Late Father

Evie Clair mom was one to reveal through her blog that her daughter song in the finale was specially dedicated to her late dad. In the blog she wrote;

“Her song tomorrow is very special to her dad and I can hardly wait for you all to hear it and see her beautiful set.”

For her performance, she received a standing ovation from judges as well as the audience. Talking about her performance judge Simon said;

‘This was a perfect tribute to your dad,’

Followed by the comment from Howie where she said;

her voice  is the light at the end of the tunnel

Though there were some mistakes in her performance, all the judge were blown up by her confidence and how the sang the song. Simon further said;

‘This was honestly incredible…I can’t even get my dogs to sit,’

Simon Cowell, who is one of the elite judges said that Evie could continue in the next season as she has suffered a huge loss but amid the family tragedy Evie continued as a brave girl, and at this age, she has shown a lot of guts and confident contender. Like any other contestant, Evie is determined to finish what she had started.

Evie’s late father Amos watched her girl perform while first appearing in AGT through a hotel room while undergoing a surgery. The last blog of family states that:

“I’m sure there is a purpose and until we understand all we can do is hang on and find joy in the journey.”
