Ariel Tweto was born as Ariel Eva Tuadraq-Atauchaq Tweto on December 14, 1987, at Unalakleet, Alaska, USA, to father Jim and mother Freno Tweto. Her father was a pro hockey player; however, later, he changed his career to aviation after meeting his partner, Freno.

Ariel was brought up with her two siblings, one of whom is Ayla Tweto. She usually posts pictures with her sisters and spends a ton of time with them.

Grew up in Nome Census, Ariel enrolled at the Emerson College. She graduated with a major in communication and minor in broadcast journalism from Chapman University in Southern California.
