Cause of John Coughlin’s Death
John Coughlin committed suicide on January 18, 2019, a day after being suspended from figure skating for unspecified allegations. He was under restriction by the US Safe Sport before his death. John’s death was confirmed by his sister, Angela Laune, in a Facebook post:
My wonderful strong, amazingly compassionate brother John Coughlin took his own life earlier today. I have no words. I love you John…
